This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access the site, the server automatically processes technical access data transmitted by your browser:
- shortened or full IP address
- date and time of access
- requested page / file
- browser type and operating system (user agent)
- referrer URL
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free provision and security of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individuals.
Delivery and the server functions of this website are pinned to the Frankfurt am Main region (Germany). The content of your enquiry is therefore processed within the EU.
As the provider is based in the USA, access from the USA (for example in the course of support or official requests) cannot be fully ruled out. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.
4. Fonts
The fonts used (Inter, Instrument Serif) are served locally from this website's server and bundled at build time. No connection is established to servers of Google or other third parties, and no data is transmitted to them.
5. Images
Images are delivered via the host's image optimization service (Vercel). No direct request to third-party servers is made by your browser.
6. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or tracking tools, and does not embed advertising or social media scripts. No profiling takes place.
7. Contact
If you contact us by email, the data you provide (email address, content of the message) will be processed to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) or (b) GDPR. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
If you use the contact form, the fields name, email address and message are processed. The entries are not stored in a database; they are delivered solely as an email to the mailbox kontakt@christophkaesler.com. Sending and the mailbox are operated by the email provider Hostinger International Ltd., Vilnius, Lithuania (EU). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a prospective contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in being able to answer enquiries.
The data is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes. Details from the contact form are not used for newsletters or any other advertising.
8. External links
This website links to external profiles (e.g. LinkedIn). When you click such links, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We have no influence on their data processing.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, an email to the address above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
